Complaint Feedback Response Mechanism (CFRM) Assistant at Terre des hommes (Tdh)

Terre des hommes (Tdh), a leading Swiss child relief organization with over 50 years of experience supporting vulnerable children, is seeking a Complaint Feedback Response Mechanism (CFRM) Assistant for its operations in Borno State.

The CFRM Assistant will work under the supervision of the MEAL Officer to ensure the effective management of feedback and complaint systems across Tdh Nigeria programs. The role involves receiving, processing, and responding to community feedback through multiple channels, including hotlines, help desks, suggestion boxes, and outreach activities. As the first point of contact for beneficiaries, the Assistant is expected to maintain neutrality, professionalism, and the highest level of integrity.Future of work

Key responsibilities include supporting the functionality and accessibility of feedback mechanisms for all population groups, ensuring confidentiality, and handling sensitive complaints related to child protection, staff conduct, corruption, and fraud. The Assistant will also conduct field visits to raise awareness of the CFRM, support the development of communication materials, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution of complaints. Additionally, the role contributes to improving program quality by documenting feedback, preparing regular reports, and facilitating learning sessions with program teams.

Applicants should possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with 1–2 years of experience in an NGO or humanitarian setting. Experience in accountability, MEAL, or community engagement is an advantage. Strong communication skills, proficiency in English and local languages, and knowledge of Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) are essential.
