A leading non-profit organization, Junior Achievement Nigeria, a member of JA Worldwide, is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join its team as an Assistant Manager (Programs Delivery & Strategy) in North-East Nigeria.Nigerian career opportunities

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education, youth empowerment, and impactful program delivery. The successful candidate will support the design, execution, and strategic coordination of education-focused programs across the region.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing multiple program portfolios, ensuring effective delivery in line with organizational goals, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies such as SUBEB and Ministries of Education. The role also involves grant writing, proposal development, budget management, and supervising program teams to achieve measurable outcomes.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 is an added advantage. Applicants should have 4–5 years of experience in program management within the NGO sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or mid-level management role. Strong communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills are essential, along with proven experience in implementing education programs at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.
