Job Title: Assistant General Manager, Mechanical (Hydraulics Specialist)
Location: Obajana Plant, Kogi
Job Summary
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems in cement plant equipment (coolers, VRMs, kilns, stackers, reclaimers). Ensures system efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems (VRM, coolers, stackers, reclaimers)
* Perform inspections, fault analysis, and system optimization
* Support design, installation, and upgrades of hydraulic systems
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety compliance
* Carry out hydraulic calculations, simulations, and reporting
* Collaborate with teams to improve plant performance and reliability
Requirements
* B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (Hydraulics specialization preferred)
* 15+ years’ experience in cement plant hydraulics
* Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, circuits, and components
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office
* Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
