The Candel FZE, a leading agrochemical and fertiliser manufacturing company based in the Lekki Free Zone (Ibeju-Lekki, near Dangote Refinery), is expanding its field commercial team.

Seven openings. Multiple states. National impact.

This role sits at the frontline of agricultural extension and technical sales. Not behind a desk. In the field. With farmers, distributors, and dealers.

The Technical Sales Representative (Agronomist) will engage in pre-sales consultations with distributors and coordinate on-farm demonstrations of agrochemical and fertiliser products. The work is practical. Demonstrate value. Translate product knowledge into real farm results. Then ensure farmers can replicate those practices independently with minimal support.

Simple idea. Complex execution.

The role also involves strengthening distribution networks — working closely with stockists and dealers to ensure timely availability of products in the right quantities, at the right locations, and at the right price points. Market access is as important as technical knowledge.

This is a field-heavy position. Movement is constant. Exposure is broad. The expectation is adaptability — across regions, cultures, and farming systems.

Ideal candidates are under 30 years of age and hold at least a Second Class Upper degree in Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences, or related fields. Strong academic grounding matters. So does field readiness.

Candidates should be comfortable living and travelling across different parts of Nigeria. No fixed comfort zone. Just mobility and resilience.

Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of additional Nigerian languages is a strong advantage. At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role will strengthen an application.

This is not just sales. It is technical influence in agriculture at scale.
