🔍 Job Summary

The Relationship Officer will be responsible for acquiring new customers, managing existing client relationships, and driving deposit mobilization while delivering excellent banking services. The role plays a key part in achieving the bank’s commercial objectives through customer engagement, product cross-selling, and consistent service delivery.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

Acquire new customers and grow the branch deposit base (CASA focus)
Manage assigned customer portfolios and ensure active account usage
Market and cross-sell banking products such as savings, current accounts, fixed deposits, cards, and e-channels
Support consumer lending products where applicable
Ensure proper KYC documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
Resolve customer complaints promptly while maintaining high service standards
Participate in sales campaigns and community marketing initiatives
Achieve assigned monthly and annual performance targets
🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in any discipline
1–3 years of experience in retail banking, sales, or customer service
Basic knowledge of retail banking operations and products

Strong sales and deposit mobilization skills
Basic credit analysis knowledge
Excellent customer relationship management ability
Understanding of KYC and AML regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and attention to detail
