1. West Africa Researcher

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contractor
Department: GDC Africa
Experience Level: Entry-level
Compensation: $20 per hour

Role Overview:
The West Africa Researcher will support the collection, verification, and management of data related to political violence and protest events across West Africa, with a strong focus on the Sahel region and Nigeria. This position is ideal for candidates interested in conflict research, data analysis, and regional security dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and code data on political violence and protest events
Review and verify information from diverse and credible sources
Maintain accuracy and consistency in data management systems
Monitor developments across West African countries, especially Nigeria and the Sahel
Contribute to high-quality datasets used globally for research and policy decisions
Requirements:

Availability for a minimum of 25 hours per week
Strong research, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
Interest or background in conflict studies, political science, or related fields
Reliable internet access and ability to work remotely
2. Growth Coordinator

Location: Remote
Department: Corporate Licensing
Compensation: $55,000 – $60,000 per year

Role Overview:
The Growth Coordinator will play a vital role in expanding ACLED’s reach and engagement across its audience and partner networks. This is a practical, execution-driven position focused on managing and optimizing growth channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute email marketing campaigns
Coordinate webinars, events, and outreach initiatives
Drive audience engagement and lead generation strategies
Support product communication and user engagement efforts
Analyze performance metrics to improve growth strategies
Requirements:

Experience in marketing, communications, or growth-related roles
Strong organizational and execution skills
